Jextel
Heres the layout for now alpine cda 105 clarion eq 4 18 fi n2's wired to 2ohm -27cuft NET -3 8" aero ports -27hz tuning 2 crunch gp3000ds strapped -subsonic set to about 20hz problem is it doesnt play the lows as violent as it did with 1 amp 43-44hz(Sounds peaky compared to1 amp also) is loud but it kind of fades off below that..still moves some air but not like it did on 1 amp at .5ohm Also i have to take a look at the slave amp for the settings(subsonic) but im pretty sure they wont matter since its in slave mode Edited June 5, 2011 by Jextel Quote http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3042878TEAM DEADLY HERTZ "GET LOUD OR DIE TRYIN"only the loudest will survive. blownengine
I think your problem might be that you picked kick ass subs and weak amps. Rainman215
So it's quieter with 2 amps? Maybe it has to do with the power vs. Box size??? We can try my 3500s on them one day if you want. Just run the wires from my car to your subs. Strapped vs unstrapped. Idk how you strap with those amps but make sure the impedance isn't going up with your wiring configuration. Chode69
very weird...so w 1 amp you had it at .5 with both amps your seeing a 2 ohm load? i know when you strap an amp you get more imp rise and/or power compression could come into play...i think for 4 18s you need MUCH more port area than 3 8" aeros and the extra power is actually putting to much power into the box and not letting it out making the subs fight their own back pressure killing the score and lows...you gotta figure a low note moves A LOT of air...if it cant get out quick enough the subs are gonna build up on their own pressure Quote NoFearX18 said: Nick will bang just about anything.....LMAO....pun intended On 4/13/2010 at 9:51 AM, meade916 said: i was like DAMN, Chode is hardcore! he makes james look like a friendly person LOL! trainman0978 said: I dont know who is worse with the buttholes Chode or Big P...
