I think what he is trying to say is right now it is just a hole, if you make it longer, then it will be a port, and u will like it better. Need about 10 more db then your there. So ya we think thats a weak score, on a trunk level we see people doing 150 with regular design boxes. Thats kinda why we thought it was quiet. THis is the last person I would doubt. If he is giving you advice, I would do more than consider it, I would act on it and see if he is right...which he is. If someone with his knowledge is trying to help you get louder or make it sound better, then I'd listen. Go check out his shop section...there is proof enough for you in there.
