well lets start off with my car it is a standard 1996 ford taurus gl with a standard 3.0 liter v6. i purchased it in the fall of 2010 with the standard tape deck in the dash. in december of 2010 i purchased the 90$ dash kit for it and ran the wires ziptieing every 4-6 inches. in february 2011 i received enough money to fund a full on system so i went directly to NORTHERN SOUND AND SECURITY SYSTEMS of cheboygan michigan usa, while there i received help from greg, owner, and adam, installer on choosing the items i was going to purchase here is what i can remember i will probably update later with a more complete list:--------

1 jvc exad cd/dvd 3.5" high tech head unit

25 feet of 2 gauge wire from advance auto parts

2 pairs of rockford fosgate punch 6x8s p1683

2 rockford fosgate punch p2 P2D212 series 2010, smoked them had to update to the series 2011 P2D212

1 36" rockford fosgate decal placed on rear window

1 rockford fosgate prime r500.1, sub amp

1 rockford fosgate prime r300.4, speaker amp

4 tsunami 4 gauge distribution blocks

1 tsunami 4 channel rcas

1 tsunami 2 channel rcas

2 tsunami "y" splitters

1 tsunami 3' 2 channel rca

already had a large ported sub box

neons on the box and drivers side front door need to buy another to put on the passenger side door

1 slightly used rockford fosgate team rf 25 farad digital carbon capacitor

brand new diehard large battery from walmart

new clamps and bolts for anything electrically controlled in the front

partiall big three upgrade

2nd. wtf is up with the wiring? looks like a rat nest. i hope u didnt pay for that

Props to doing it yourself. However, to make a proper log you should post the pictures in the thread spanning several pages, keep us asking for more. Don't play all your cards at once mate ;)

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

^ what he said. Taurus builds are always fun, not cheap though especially with that install kit and harness. Looks good though.

A little critisicm never killed any one. If this is for SOTM the completion is TUFF. Even with the "small" builds they are still clean. Im NOT hating, we all started somewhere BUT if I were going to be entering this I would clean that shit up.

lower tuning is just hard. I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz.

What is cool about those doors is that they are yelling for some FG mods. My s10 is a puzzle...
