and the second fuse holder

P8280483.jpg

and here you can see i took out the factory center console because i always left it tilted up and people though it would be smart to open it

and mocking up the back wall of the box

and then once i cut down the buss bars. im hoping to be able to fit a sundown, dc, or crescendo 3k-3.5k amp at the bottom.

question on the bussbars. doesnt wood conduct energy? or what did you do to seperate the positive and negave as for them to not touch and complete the loop?

wood isnt a conductor and the paint on it will prevent the minuscule amount of conductivity present(if any)

oh ok... hey listen i have an idea for the ANL fuses under the hood to the battery. you think its possible to put one for bass and one for highs both running a seperate wire back but then the other side of the ANL (closer to battery) have them both linked on a bussbar so you only need one 0 gauge heading directly into your batt. think it would work?

fiberglassing is fun until your glove rips. put a layer of 1 1/2 oz chop mat on the bottom and outsides, resined the top piece, and reresined the port. P8290489.jpg

waiting for the pieces to dry under a light. i dont think i put in enough hardener so its dry but not hard enough to sand without clogging the sandpaper. and i didnt use enough resin on the piece on the upper left and the big piece on the right but it doesnt really matter. i did the piece in the center better and luckily i did it better since its on the back and will be visible.
