Yeah Dynamat isn't going to even touch that sort of flexing. Reinforcement (such as the OP posted) is necessary.

LOL oh lawd.

After that much power and cone area, dynamat won't do SHIT. that's when you add an mdf roof, stripper pole, and spray it all with bedliner.

lol thought about the spraying the roof with bedliner. My port is bedliner right now and I love it. But I'm going to hold on to try one more layer of birch this time and drill it into the mdf with short screws and then spray foam in between. Hopefully that gives it a nice hold :)
