JustinWillmon
Im starting the build on my blowthrough....Down the road i wanna run two sundown saz-2500 but for now i only have one. Not sure what subs yet but if the plans go right on the design gonna run three 15's. I was gonna buy two xs d3100 and put them in the back..Would tjhat be good enough to run the system for awhile until i can save up some more cash to buy a dc 270 amp alternator or should i buy one battery and the alt? JustinWillmon
Alright gonna scrap the idea of the two batteries just wanna get in on the sale there having....Later on would it be better to add a second battery on top of the one 3100 and aly or would that be overkill? Louisiana Bass
You can never have overkill on your electrical mate. I would actually recommend getting that second battery after the alt so you know your voltage wont drop. You can never have steady enough voltage Quote N8. No homo...unless you want there to be. I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz. -= 2005 Tahoe LT =-Head unit: Pioneer AVH-X5500BHSSource: iPad Mini in dash Subs: 2 T1 12's Sub Amp: T1500-1bdCPWire: Rockford Fosgate 1/0 awgSignal Cable: MonsterFronts:Stock Bose for now:)Rears: Stock Bose for now:)MIds/High amp: Stock Bose for now:) 2005 Tahoe Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/172529-2005-tahoe-my-17th-vehicle/ 2001 Monte Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/160030-2001-monte-carlo-my-16th-car-lol/page-2#entry25309381997 Tahoe Build Log: http://www.stevemead...oe-6-15-rf-15s/2001 Impala Build Log: http://www.stevemead...katzkin-inside/

If it's an AGM battery, you will be fine with leaving it and running the others in the back. If its a different type of battery though, you may want to switch it out. Im sure someone with much more experience will chime in and totally prove me wrong, but... Quote N8. No homo...unless you want there to be.
