dwright27
Ok, so I'm throwing in my equipment for the show in Macon today, got everything in, mounted amp, and wired everything but the speakers up. First I got just a protect light, then a Power AND Protect and it's stayed at that. I'm baffled, my grounds are direct to my rear bank, my fuses *appear* good ( all know how that goes ), and my remote runs from the head unit to my 2 channel ( which works perfectly fine ) and then is jumped from there to the sub amp. This amp was pulled from a vehicle 2 days ago working. Any ideas? I've also tried 2 differen RCA cables. 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. technics
not sure if this helps, but i had the exact same problem with a cheap boss amp i got given that was supposed to be working when pulled out and yeah tried it numerous times on both a car and demo board where i work and had the same problem, eventually the protect and power would just flicker on and off.. spoke to a guy who does repairs and he said sounded as if was something internal so i just threw the amp out as it was a piece of shit, so dont have an exact answer to what it was unfortunately
Vitacy
I don't know if it would help but you could try flip switches to turn the amps on/off separately so you can see if one or the other amp won't work then go from there.
dwright27
After talking to the owner of the amp, he says, that it does that, but works still. Thanks you guys. 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L.
