Autruche
Lol, an old Pyle head unit that I got for free. That thing sucked balls. It had a motorized slide down faceplate cuz you put the cd in behind it, but the faceplate got stuck all the time so I just broke the tracks and left it down all the time. and if I'd run over a pebble in the road it would skip. It also had like 1v pre-outs, and the fm reception of a dead fish. Quote Need Test Tones/Sine Waves? coastdweller
When I was 6 I played with pops 8 track. When I was in high school there were cars that were rocking the 8 track. It's amazing, download, sync bam. Media has come a long way. Now I'm going to spend all week thinking "What was my first damned head unit" and what is sad is I remember it now. Dad worked at Handy Andy (Tv Stereo place) and it was all I could do to afford what they had laying around. cubs_fan0718
It was some Wal-Mart Pioneer Deck back in '01-ish. Every Pioneer Deck i have owned i have never had a grounding issue, luck of the draw i guess. I have only strayed from Pioneer twice once was an Alpine deck that i ended up selling to get another Pioneer and then i got a Kenwood Excelron(sp?) which was a pretty good deck, but now i own a Pioneer Premier 980bt and its made me happy. Nine8SST
I'd have to go back to 85... and that's gotta be a sony? Or even a Kenwood. Really no clue, just know it was ripped off haha. Was it a 8 track....lol just joking bro... LMAO....I can remember my mom having an 8 track in her car when I was like 7 or so. I was going throught my pops garage about a month ago,and found a box with a sparkomatic 8track with about (15)8tracks...I powered it up and it still works.... lol Awesome find, had to bring a smile to your face just playing with it.
