JustinWillmon Posted June 16, 2011 Report Posted June 16, 2011 Im in the process of getting my blowthrough designed up and slowly piecing together my build which will consist of 4 15" dc lvl 4's and a few sundown saz-2500 (will upgrade to bigger amps later). My question though is i measure for the actual cut which will enter the cab. Due to the supports that ran through the truck i am only getting about 13" tall by 43.5" wide. Is this a normal size for the cut itself or what size are yall running? The truck is a 2004 1500. The size of the box will be 50"x49.5"x19 so its pretty big. Its my first blowthrough setup so just wanna make sure everything is right before i cut.

JustinWillmon Posted June 16, 2011 Author Report Posted June 16, 2011 Ya Ram_Designs is making the design i think hes planning on a 4th order. I just wasnt sure if that size of a cutout would be to small and hurt the sound.
Namosh Posted June 16, 2011 Report Posted June 16, 2011 I was only able to make my cut 10" tall because of the way the bed angles away from the cab at the top. If I would have went any higher the boot seal would not have worked. Mine is an 05 so I would think the bed is the same as yours. My Ram Quad Cab Blow-through
