Dubpower
I was wondering, what you guys do when building a box, do you use the manufactures recommendations as a guide line or just build you own??? I am think of building one myself with 2 of these http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/8020.html in my mk4 golf and they recommend a 4.5 cu. ft box, so I know I would not fit that in the motor LOLZ but would I get away with a smaller box for them??????? thanks and also you guys got me in on the idea for the build
SpartanSound
I mean I'm not sure how much actual room you have to work with, but if you can't reasonably fit them then get 12s or one 15. It's better to put subs in the right enclosure then try and fit bigger subs into a smaller box. I guess you could go a little smaller than what they need, but again... I wouldn't go too much less. Hotdog
Get a tape measure out and get your dimensions multiply height x width x depth and divide by 1728 and you will have your gross volume you can fit back there. RAM_Designs
Is that trunk cover going to hurt the ability for the bass to make it's way into the cabin? Dubpower
Get a tape measure out and get your dimensions multiply height x width x depth and divide by 1728 and you will have your gross volume you can fit back there. 39W X 19D X 21H = 15561 squared /1728 = 9.005283 cu. ft. does this sound good?????? also still have room for the 4 amps and 2 batteries well I do hope so Edited June 19, 2011 by Dubpower
