bass_stalker Posted June 19, 2011 Report Share Posted June 19, 2011 (edited) my friend Pierre recently bought a quantum audio 12 and it hits pretty good. . this is how we currently have it set up . my question is would the 15 in a the right box be about the same as the 2 12's. he is leaning more towards the 15 because the 12's would need a 4 cube ported box where as the 15 would only need 3 cubes. we still have to upgrade his electrical too so the new subs will be alittle ways off anyway. That's how I like to do my boxes at least i think the 15 only needs 2.5 or 3 cubes where as the 2 12's would need the 4 cubes. but the 4 cube box would take up almost all the trunk which he doesn't wanna do. General rule of thumb for 15"s is 3.5 cubes with lots of power (over Rms), 4 cubes with low to normal power. Quote Bassless once again.
