CleanSierra
You have 2 4 ohm coils, which wires you down to two final impedance. Running one amp per coil will only ask the amp for 4 ohms per coil from each amp. Sooooo that will still only be 750 watts per coil RMS. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. DudeWith4x4
No no no. Lol I got 2 ohms. Its wired to 4ohm right now.. So when I give one amp to each coil they will be runnin at 1500. ITs running at 750 right now cause I can't wire dual 2ohms to 2ohm. lol Idk if any of that made sense. -Ross Project Layla Truck: 99' F-150 Gathering things for my next build. DudeWith4x4
Lmao. Okay 04S18X2... Its a dual 2ohm sub man.. -Ross Project Layla Truck: 99' F-150 Gathering things for my next build. CleanSierra
Lmao. Okay 04S18X2... Its a dual 2ohm sub man.. Yup....sorr I was just way confused. the two at the end of the model number is I'm sure what tells the difference. So each amp running 1500 to each coil would be pretty awesome. According to amp wire calculator on fosgates site, running an 80 percent efficient amp at that power should pull about 67 amps for each amplifier. That's 134 amps at full tilt. DudeWith4x4
Pluse my doorspeaker amp.. lol Sooo.. I need more electrical. lol I may go ahead and buy it.. Would be cheaper than buyin a recone I was thinking of getting.. Plus It would get louder.. witch puts me further behind on my doorspeakerss.. lol -Ross Project Layla Truck: 99' F-150 Gathering things for my next build. CleanSierra
Pluse my doorspeaker amp.. lol Sooo.. I need more electrical. lol I may go ahead and buy it.. Would be cheaper than buyin a recone I was thinking of getting.. Plus It would get louder.. witch puts me further behind on my doorspeakerss.. lol It pulls roughly 36 amps at full draw. So added up that's 180 amps pull at full tilt. Half that though on music since it's not a constant signal. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. 727Designs
Whats the model number of your sub, I'm gonna get to the bottom of this I got to the bottom of that 2 pages ago . He will be pulling over half of those amps at full tilt on music, especially on Decaf or BigPimpins stuff. I figure he will be pulling 140+ amps, and on the stock alt, no big 3, and 1 battery that's a no no. Stock alts on those trucks are like 130 amp IIRC, so he would be drawing more than his alternator can charge, draining the battery in a hurry. -Zach-2010 Toyota TundraFull Hybrid Audio SQ 7" BDS on 37's 2000 Ford Expedition 160+ dB Green Turd -SOLD-
DudeWith4x4
Alright man. I decided against the amp last night.. Found a new recone(4ohm) for 100. Witch will let me run on 2ohms till I got another amp. I'll always have the 2ohm cone when I get a new amp. So I'm gonna get it soon. -Ross Project Layla Truck: 99' F-150 Gathering things for my next build.
