CleanSierra Posted July 30, 2011 Report Share Posted July 30, 2011 Whats the model number of your sub, I'm gonna get to the bottom of this I got to the bottom of that 2 pages ago . He will be pulling over half of those amps at full tilt on music, especially on Decaf or BigPimpins stuff. I figure he will be pulling 140+ amps, and on the stock alt, no big 3, and 1 battery that's a no no. Stock alts on those trucks are like 130 amp IIRC, so he would be drawing more than his alternator can charge, draining the battery in a hurry. I wasn't aware he listened to that stuff. I do agree that his stock electrical won't keep up. My Sierra isn't pulling near the amp load, and doesn't like it. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
