ok head unit is a cda-117 and i decided to mess around and just scope. i am using a tpi 440 to scope it and RF 360 set up disk for tones. the scope is reading the frequency of the tone just fine but i am not getting any voltage. i have the scope on acv with f3 (freq) & f5(auto) functions on. i have tried with different RCAs as well they too are stinger pro 3 series am i doing some thing wrong here?

Are you using a 0dB tone on the head unit? and are all of the EQ settings flat with the sub gain turned all the way up?

Yeah, sorry. I meant the sub volume on the head unit. It's an alpine, so it should be like 0-10 or 15, turn that all the way up. when you scope it. You won't see full RCA voltage unless you do.

Well, that's just for the sub, I'm assuming that's what you were scoping as the readout says you're playing a 40Hz track.
