dB Don
Nick just said it again, N2=If you rarely plan to meter it, this is what you need and goes lower a bit easier. More of a drop in performance minded spl woofer with smooth response. In a wider variety of enclosures. N3=If you plan to meter it more, and is tougher to get lower than the N2 but will require substantial power, enclosure knowledge, and break in time. If you were to buy this woofer without already knowing what to do with it you would be unhappy and should have bought the N2. My N3's so far have gone lower than the Chaos and Mayhems, not lower than the SMD but thats a given. Its certainly the hardest hitting and detailed sounding subwoofer I have used in awhile. But remember I cross over at 50hz and under. -Donald Hebig1989 Blazer S10 4x4-Four Fi BTL N3 15" "Ruthless bass!"-Four pair of American Bass VFL 8", 6.5", and tweets-Sundown SAZ 1500(2550wrms=156 dB) 92+ Psychlone RTA.
