EricM9104
first, did you up grade to 0 gauge for your audiopipe amp? that is a must. 2nd thing i noticed, why not just ground oyur audio pipe amp to the battery? (make sure ground is as short as possible definetly less than 3 ft. and possibly DD subs? DC is good too but just something to think about. It'll be perfectly fine. I ran shitty walmart 5ga for my ap-15001d, nothing bad ever happened and it slammed the shit out of my fi q 2015 Honda Civic LX 4dr | 24k miles Stock H/U and mids/highs Power Acoustik GW3-12" D2 Sub HiFonics BXX1200.1D @ 1ohm Random 2.5^3' dual ported box NVX LOC Stinger wiring throughout 1977 Chevy SWB Cammed 350 Dual exhaust Cheap Wish stereo

Cardboardcat15
K small update. I took all my shit out over the winter break from courses. I threw it all back in abuot a week ago. Got my negative 1/0 run from front batt to back batt, and upgraded the back batt to a D3400. Now, the only difference is the D3400. The redtop is gone. I haven't upgraded woofers because I got slapped with the stupidest fucking tickets of all tickets. Not completely stopping at a stopsign. Needless to say, things are on hold until I pay this ticket and find me a fucking job. My Channel on YouTube. Cardboardcat15
Yet another update. This one bad. Just went outside to take a video for my channel and found out that there's a huge fucking crack running down my alternator bracket. The top arm on the bracket cracked down the middle. Needless to say this is not a good sign because if this retarded ass ticket is more than 100 dollars, I'm not sure I'll have any cash to fix this bracket, if it's at all fixable. BUgs the shit out of me that I can't drive this piece of shit without something going wrong. That's life. EDIT: Also because it's my fault anyway for modding the car to begin with, so all I can say is fml and move on. My Channel on YouTube. Cardboardcat15
Here's the damage. I think the reason it snapped is because that is actually the original bracket (modded a bit), and it's under a lot of stress while holding that huge ass alt in place. Since the bracket was originally made to handle a smaller alternator, the thinness of the arm gave way over time. Or at least that's my theory. My Channel on YouTube. Cardboardcat15
Dude, you could maybe get that thing re-welded, stronglike. I'm hoping so. Gonna talk to my mechanic on monday, but someone informed me of bad welds on the bracket itself in another thread So if the welds are truly no good, I might go somewhere else for this. I just want it fixed so I can safely drive my car. My Channel on YouTube. bre2ts
yea man you can definitely get that welded or have some one mock up a new bracket. and weld it on. the welds n the bracket are a bit sloppy. but also thats a hard place to get into and weld, but a professional should of done a better job.
