All of these designs have been with the vent in the ski hole. That's what I'm trying to utilize.

I guess I'm a glutton for punishment, here's another one with a 4th order of sorts. This gives me 1.38cu ft ported, and about .7cu ft sealed. The port is a 3" at 18" long which will tune me at 40.79 hz. The port in the diagrams are not round they're square, but the final would be round.

The reason you don't see the ski hole in these diagrams is cause I didn't want to go through and draw the back seat. But they all utilize the ski hole area.

Also this design still leaves me plenty of room for the drawers to go in for the amps. Those only need to be about 10" deep and there's around 11.5" here.

I'm willing, just not possible. I have my girls in the car every morning so I have car seats in my car about 98% of the time. When I take them out they go in the trunk or the garage. Trunk is kinda going away, with all that equipment cramming in there. But since I always have them in there, I can't just put them down. So do you think then that the sub facing the trunk with the vent to the cabin like I drew it is good then?

As far as port size, according to Torres the port being 11" tall, by 1.5" wide, and 26" long gives me a port area of 16.50 and 12.60 per foot @ a tuning frequency of 34.00Hz. I'll take a snap shot of the enclosure on torres and put it up here.

So are you saying make that bigger? How big should it be?

I am surprised with everything else you're doing to this car that you didn't just make folding car seats for the girls that fold down when you drop the seats to listen to your bass but are also removable when they no longer need to use them...

Hmmmmm, you mean build a back seat with inserts that double as car seats!?! You might be onto something there!!! Although it may not end up to law specs and if I get in an accident and something happens that wouldn't have in their normal seats, I'd never forgive myself. Not worth it. I'll figure out how to make this work. I like the idea though!

Damn, this is irritating. Everyone around me is making progress on their rides, and I've not even touched mine for weeks now. it's killin me!!!!

I completely understand safety is a must and if worse comes to worse just build a damn compartment to store the car seats you know you want to I can feel it.

Believe me we are just as irritate at east I know I am been waiting to see what your maniacal mind comes up with next for this build

Well that's part of the problem with not being able to work on it. I sit here and think about how to improve what's already been planned. I need to work on it!

I'm kidding. I'll get back on it soon. I'm off the week after Christmas for sure now. It's written in stone now, at least it's written on my calendar anyway. So I'll get some stuff done then. I know it's still 3 weeks away, but it's the best I can do till after the new year.
