I'm using a design I got once already which is where I got the 1.5" x 13 port numbers from, as well as double checking them from Torres. So, that being said, I have all 40" to play with width wise now, and I'm still going to stick with the 14.5" tall, and wedge back at 14 on top and 19 on the bottom. Can someone PLEASE design an enclosure or just give me a port diminsion based on a 20" wide enclosure and the specs I just noted, that would be awesome! PLEASE!?! On another note, AMPS SHOULD BE HERE TOMORROW!!!! Also, I'm going over to Steve's shop today to pick up a DD-1! Merry Christmas to me! WOOHOO!! Can you guys tell I'm looking forward to next week off! It's not just an audio build, let me just say that right off. Not sure if that's a big deal or not, but some people enjoy the full on builds, me for example. So I thought that I might share mine. My car is a 2006 Honda Civic ex Sedan. It is a daily drive and so it's not something that can just be taken apart and left in the garage, but that is the case sometimes. I guess I bite off more than I can chew at times, and really who doesn't in this game! I have limited time as I have a family, 2 daughters (4 and 6) and a wife and a house that needs kept up and along with that a schedule to stay healthy which is a routine all by itself. So I mainly build this when I have time, weekends, late at night after the kids are in bed, and maybe days off. So it is a slow build, but it's a build. So I need the room in the trunk, or at least some, for stuff to go in there. This has to be a functional car, and everything that I do is intended to keep it that way. Sweet build. scooter99 Posted December 22, 2011 Author Report Posted December 22, 2011 In the Torres just make it "2 common port walls" then you are playing around with a rectangular port that doesn't go all the way from top to bottom, and you have freedom over both the port width and height. ALSO: in running the port, just look at the last sketch up for reference, I have that one running down the back of the enclosure. Can I do that, or should I double it back forward like a "U" shape?
