JustinWillmon
DIdnt read the whole thread but i would say go ahead and upgrade your electrical before you do either amp. I learned that running watts that high can cause voltage drop with no upgrades of the electrical which in turn can damage your equipment of you wont get optimal performance out of it. Beef up your electrical right the first time so later on you wont have to worry about it and you can just upgrade your amp and subs as needed without worrying if you have the electrical to back it up. Supercharged DCs
Running 2000w or so doesn't take a major upgrade. Big 3 and a great battery under the hood/ in the back and your good. I ran a DC 2k on stock alt and a single D3400. Alternator charged at 13.6v, never dropped below 13.5v at full tilt Quote Bassless once again. Team_DC-Derrick
Exactly all fine for 2k but not 4k. and you keep overlooking what i keep saying... ill say it again later down the road, when he has the $ to upgrade his electrical, he can add another aq2200, and not have to buy more subs, because the XLs wont take 2 2200s... the 5 will...
