Blowing Fuses

alright so i have 2 db 15's on a power acoustik 5500D and the other night i was riding home and the subs just stopped playing, the next morning all of the fuses were blown. i put 2 different sets of fuses in it and it blew them as soon as the amp powered up, i checked all of the wires and unhooked the capacitor and now it wont blow any fuses but the amp is in protect mode. any ideas on whats wrong ?

I think you need to have the capacitor charged before you put the fuses back in. I think.. dont quote me on this i am a noob

yeah those power acoustic amps are junk, the power is dirty, highly overrated, and they break easy.

either that or your gains could be too high, or shitty ground?
