Recommended Posts

hey guess i think im a ground pounder? hah, i got 2 15" RE SX's on 1700rms ( for now ) in a 8.2cube box tuned to 33hz, im going to invert my subs once i get new wiring to hopefully lower the tuning a bit. but i basically wanted to know of any tips to hit harder/lower, im going to hopefully buy an AQ2200 to replace my hifonics brz2400.1 and run it at .5 ohms, im going to get a bigger battery and perhaps a new alt, so i just need some tips, im not into the burps , but my first comp is next month and id like to put up some 145+ on a daily system would be sweet for a first comp lol

well you probably wont hit that tuned at 33hz especially if you want to invert and go even lower? you will need the right box tuned higher to hit a 145+

Just because you can do it, doesn't mean his will. I have no doubt that you can use this same equipment and get that score, but that's cause your you.

I had a DD3515 on a DC2k in a 3.5 cube box tuned to 36 hz designed by Fecupe and was only hitting 142. Doubt doubling the cone area would have gotten me a whole 3 db.

 N8.

No homo...unless you want there to be. :orly3::ehh:

your on crack..

...no you are, ive personally seen a pair of 8's do a 149 on less then or no more then 2200 clamped...

ive also personally hit 148.7 tuned to 30hz....

Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k!

Why would you EVER WANT flex?
huh?...flex is what can make the lows lower and more air being pushed correct?
