If I got the 2ohm 18 and didnt have the amp for awhile can you wire two 2ohm coils to a 2ohm load?

Kicker-god. the amps may work at different at RMS though? Wouldnt if they arent exactly the same be bad?

Nope, single d2 ohm sub will have either 1 or 4 ohm final load.

how is the solo x 18s motor bigger than the 12? if its a different motor on the solo x 12 then technically its not a solo x...

a lvl 5 10-12-15-18 all have the same motor, just a different basket and cone size...

why would it be any different?

honestly, i wont give my opinion on kicker, but the 18 will play all kinds of music... just depends on what you tune the box to

Not all companies use the same motor structure for all sizes. I believe Kicker has different motors for the Solo-X 10(& 12) and the Solo-X 18.

You have to sink amps that's all , for some reason kicker amps ( the zx line ) you can't strap them ,

You can always use your current amplifier, run it at 4ohm. And then once you get another, link each at 2ohm for a 4ohm final load.

So what would you tune the box to sir?

I love 35, it can hit up into the 45s and down to around 24..

but thats MY personal prefrence.. some people like 38, who listen to rock more.. i wouldnt personally go over 40 though
