Either way, the more space I can save the better. Ray what would you suggest for two of them when I do them down the road? Do mayhems just like more box or is your basis in general for all the subs you've ran? I was confused when we had that 2 15s vs 1 18 discussion for the CRV how 8-10 cubes wasnt enough for 2 15s, but now I understand the way you do things a little better now and it makes sense. And btw, lets just say I almost went with mayhems for this build, but I think the lvl 5 will make me happy for now. (I hope :peepwall: )

Well I went and remeasured my trunk since its been a LONG time since ive done so and my depth dimensions may be WAY out of wack...the metal for my rear deck pushes the box like 3" back farther than it could be if that bullshit wasnt there, and from that part to my amp rack is like 17 inches at most. So the amp rack is prolly gonna have to be moved or even better, completely redone, maybe even the battery box...and the fucked up way my trunk is it all may be easier just to wall. :peepwall:

But anyways, max dimensions should be about 15"x33"xabout 28" unless I can build it in the trunk. My trunk goes from the 33' of width to like 50-60" after the wheel wells...so a box in the trunk may be the way to go once I grab the second 12". Anyways, heres the revision.

Ive done side by side lv5 vs mayhem and the dc only matched the output when it was in a bigger box

Redid the test 3 times with different boxes too.

Damn you ray. lol So sticking by 2.3-2.4, ok. How is the last box there, or is the 40.5 not enough port for 2.4 CF?

How much power was that on? Now i'm wondering if I should have tried a bigger box.

Heres two boxes from opposite ends of the spectrum, ill prolly build the bigger box first to ray's suggestions, then try the second (may wait for the second lvl 5 and build that box small, then move to a bigger box for the 2 vs building another box for the 12). But heres an example for both:

Small

Bigger

Lol

He meant that he's listening to your advice, and building the bigger box.

Read his post out loud, or have someone read it to you. It'll make sense :)
