252chevyboyz
Hey what's goin on y'all? Just kinda had a random thought about it not hitting lows... y'all don't think it could be a LPF on the amp causing it not to hot lows do you? Nice box tho. At least I think. adam6604
It really doesnt look like a bad box IMO. What power are you running to subs, and what are the box specs. It's not because it's a common chamber. its like 50x21x26 i think, im powering with a hifonics brz2400 @ 2 ohms, so there getting 1700rms right now Quote Driving my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 MEGA cab with the 5.7 hemi. Supercharged DCs
Does the port end closer to the subwoofer that hits normally? Quote Bassless once again. Supercharged DCs
That sounds like a definite loading issue, I'm almost 100% sure of it. Let someone else chime in though to be certain... Pretty sure your only option to fix it, if it is a loading issue, is to build another box. Quote Bassless once again. Torres
to help check if it's a loading issue, try to close the port off as best as you can and turn on some music. play it loud enough to where you think you could differentiate the two speakers. it might not work 100%, never tried, but to me i think that would help at least some EDIT: or switch the subs and see if the issue continues with the same sub (then it's a sub issue) or if it's just the placement of the subs (box issue) Edited July 7, 2011 by Torres
