00_XJ
Hey I just looked at the hood and ummm that big ass scoop is useless?!?! Unless you're gonna cut the hood after everything is done. Well whatever you decide to do, the paint is still sick. Update, got the first coat of clear on the car onto the pics, let me know what you think! Look closely, it's already been cut. 2000 Jeep Cherokee -DC Audio -Memphis -Audioque -SecondSkin -Pioneer -KnuKonceptz
77-AUDIO
I like the color. One thing I see that might be a problem, with it being a metallic and the doors painted laying flat and not on the car the metallic on the doors will flow and settle different than the body and cause a color variation. something I have seen happen before. but for self taught it looks good. what brand of paint did yall use. Dupont, PPG, or transtar. PPI dbl dinDC Level 31.77cubes net tuned to 33htz.DC audio 2.0kCT Pro Audio 8" in front, 6.5 in rear

Dupont, PPG, or transtar. that's the one thing my dad was worried about, it's not really a matter of color matching but how smooth the paint looks, the doors do look a hell of a lot better than the car and it's exactly because of what you said, but it's pretty simple to fix, my dad just has to sand and buff the paint on the rest of the car to get that mirror look to the car aswell as the doors, my dad used chromabase paint, I'm not sure if that's the brand or the type of paint, if it's not a brand than he uses dupont chromabase, not very cheap haha. My pics are small so the paper/rag covering the carb blended in pretty good. Haha Well that's a relief, most people around my town with hood scoops have them because they "look cool" not knowing that they actually have a purpose.
