I can't see what number that is on mobile, it's just a question mark. Spell out the number please.

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

do you think an 80 amp alt would be fine though?

i never play music loud in my car unless im driving or at least keeping the rpm's above 2000 (twothousand). Stock eighty amp alt should hold up with a battery in back?

Can't see the number. If it's a rebuilt stock alt, it'll be good enough when driving or revving engine, but when at idle, your voltage will drop probably more than it would with stock alt. Atleast that's what Ive read up on.

That's what I've gotten from the reading I've done. Most rebuilt alts are just rewound for more output higher up, and sucky output down low. My logic would tell me you're at a 30 amp difference from SC DC and LA Bass, if you get a larger secondary battery or a third one, you'll be good to go as long as you monitor your charge levels.

You may want someone with more experience to chime in though.

Though if I were in your position, I'd get a single battery, see how my car responded, and if needed, get a second battery or upgrade the alternator.

You only have to spell eighty out. There's a smiley that used to occupy that, but I guess they finally broke it and didn't "unreserve" the number eighty.

You may be offended by the above. Don't take it personally, I'm just abrasive.
