lunchbox.inc Posted July 12, 2011 Author Report Posted July 12, 2011 (edited) i'm guessing you killed the two subs that are closest to the port? actually no, the two bottom/front subs, or more specifically, just the one on (your) drivers side, when it was screwed in one of the screws pinched the surround, under a heavy loud the surround lifted and shorted the coil HARD, which took out the amp, which in turn took the other sub out with it! but i swapped the DCWs from the top to the bottom, and mounted the Beastmasters up top as the DCWs are some 5 years old, and well used, while the beastmasters are new old stock, and never seen power, i figured with the added stiffness, they would work well being closer to the ports, and so far it's done well... goood shit men ... i guess no need for AC for the car hahaha just turn it up!! tho makes beating on a cold night HORRIBLE lol Edited July 12, 2011 by lunchbox.inc Quote
