lunchbox.inc Posted July 12, 2011 Author Report Share Posted July 12, 2011 (edited) i'm guessing you killed the two subs that are closest to the port? actually no, the two bottom/front subs, or more specifically, just the one on (your) drivers side, when it was screwed in one of the screws pinched the surround, under a heavy loud the surround lifted and shorted the coil HARD, which took out the amp, which in turn took the other sub out with it! but i swapped the DCWs from the top to the bottom, and mounted the Beastmasters up top as the DCWs are some 5 years old, and well used, while the beastmasters are new old stock, and never seen power, i figured with the added stiffness, they would work well being closer to the ports, and so far it's done well... goood shit men ... i guess no need for AC for the car hahaha just turn it up!! tho makes beating on a cold night HORRIBLE lol Edited July 12, 2011 by lunchbox.inc Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
