hey guys. im building a new system in my tahoe and im on a budget i was wondering if you guys had any ideas heres what i know. im useing kicker down to the wire (literally :lol: ) and i know im gonna get two kicker comp 15s and a dx500.1 for them, and im also gettinf two comp 8's and i need an amp to use for them im also gonna use kicker ds65's and ds45's thats where i want you guys to put your inputs in i wanna know what you guys think i should do with them. how many of what. where i should put them what amps i should use. im open to anything caz im really stuck on what to do with the mids and highs. thanks in advance for the help guys. :good:

Are you using the 8's as midbass or as another pair of subwoofers along with the 15's?

they really dont :lol: but idk most of my moneys going to the amps and i dont mind spending more i wanna get it good the first time and kickers what i wanna use and idealy id use three 15 but i dont have enough room for 3.

as much as like to use all my space for a huge system i have to still be able to load up 8 ppl and a bunch of gear and go party on the beach or in the woods. plus i font wanna add 500lbs of stuff cause i still wheel with the hoe to.

dont use kicker mids... i have had nothing but problems with them even on low power... gave the so called 100 rms kicker ks 6x9's 50 rms at best! and they blew with proper wiring and tuning.. stay away from kicker mids and highs as they are very very "tinty" in sound... your ear drums will hate you!

are you sure it wasnt you? i have ran kicker coaxes and comps and they sound great.

you probably just had some lemmons caz my friends been runnin a bunch of the ds65s for years now at their recomended watts just fine and theyre nice
