tlh_360
Ok I just sold my old system to try something different. I'm not try to start a "vs" thread, just opinions on each. I am thinking of either going with a dc lvl 4 12 on a dc 1.2k @ 1ohm with option to double up later on in future if need be...or....a Sundown SA 12 on saz-1500d @ 2ohms with upgrading to a second SA 12 as soon as I can ran @ 1ohm. Which one would perform better musically? I've never really done any comps at all so just music. Any one with experience with both would be much appreciated. Also I have thought about waiting and possibly trying the new sundown X 12 but dunno when it comes out so...I don't wanna wait a super long time. Also any amp ideas with the Sundown X 12 if that is the choice. Thank`s in advanced. Edited July 12, 2011 by tlh_360

tlh_360
Because of sound? or just for more cone area? lol.

Supercharged DCs
The SA option has more cone area, motor force, and more power, and still leaves room for a power upgrade... The Sundown X would be killer, but won't know when they are released. Instead of two 12s, have you considered a single 15? Quote Bassless once again. Kinda, but I play allot of rock too and have never really heard a 15 play rock. I'm sure it can but how well would it do so?
kam311
Sundown sa-12's! They are bad ass subs for the price, and even not for the price! Plus Jacob will take care of you, great cs. The enclosure is what matters. My DD3515sc was killer for Metallica, ACDC, Pink Floyd, and the such. Quote Bassless once again.
