Looking around some 18's like a fi btl are around 500-600$, but say an lms ultra is around 1000$, thats what im trying to figure out, if spending the extra coin on some of these woofers is worth it, or if they are just hyped up.

Stop. Please. Whats the difference in someone joking about a funky pup and you recommending a pyle-o-shit? If you seriously want bang for your buck go for a DC lvl 4, or an XL depending on how much power your going to give it. Also, dont count out a Sundown Nightshade v2. AQ hdc3 is always a good too! Only 18 I've ran is a nightshade v1. I do like the neos,aq hdc3s and the 9500 series. All for different aspects but those are the 18s I heard. And the SMDs in trips hummer. Joints were slamming in there. But I mean what's your goal?
