pstone11 Posted September 10, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 10, 2011 Got these door panels knocked out today, I was going to paint them all blue to match, but decided that would just be too blue. Might make me sad sitting in there, so I went with a two tone paint which kicks ass. The black is bedliner since it is the bottom of the doors and they do get kicked and abused a bit. Some pics of various stages of prime, texture, and paint. I actually used bedliner as my first coat on these, sanded it down lightly then went with a few coats of SEM texture (lots of light sanding on that stuff to make it uniform), then topped it off with a smooth coat of bedliner. Tape off, paint some of it blue to match the rest of the truck interior. They look great installed!! Check out StoneSounds to see my recent builds.Or look at the Flying White Facebook Page!
