Alpha Damp - The Worlds Strongest CLD!

Recommended Posts

i have 2 layers of damp pro on my roof and its holding up. i even have damp pro holding up 6 rca runs on my roof and motormat pro. idk how weight even comes into play when ur just putting on the product but if regular damp pro can hold up that shit then im sure alpha damp can hold up... alpha damp

Hrmmm...maybe I should do that too. Saves space for more power wire...or maybe I should just thread it under the car. :pardon:

Damn emp, I think that is one of the few shots I haven't seen (or I don't remember seeing).

its one of the newest. i was actually pretty surprised to see the MMP held up with the damp pro. idk if you can tell but that piece in the pic sags. that was the piece i was having problems getting to stick (i don't recommend trying to install any non cld products on your roof in 106 weather) and the adhesive isn't doing shit but the Damp pro has held it up for at least a year. hopefully the added rca weight doesnt cause a problem but im not too worried about it

theres no such thing as too expensive when it comes to upgrades like that, because imo if you are gonna spend to upgrade then do it correctly rather then be a cheap ass ricer

Are you talking about Streetwires ZeroNoise NoiseKiller stuff?

I should have some of that in hand by the end of the week. Been meaning to get some for a while, just been lazy.

tell me what you think when you do get it. we got a sample kit at the shop and it looks like good stuff. not worth converting from second skin but still good product

Just received the stuff (the 1.5mm version, not the 3mm version... I'm not made of money LOL).

Haven't played with it all that much but initial impression is not bad. Seems to be about 60 mils (maybe a bit under) and has a 3-4 mil foil.

So what's the price comparison to Damp Pro? This is thinner than damp pro but alpha damp is denser making it the better product?

As it stands right now, Alpha Damp looks like it will be running around $7.00 a sq. ft. RETAIL.

The product has a reformulated condensed butyl adhesive. This combined with the ultra thick tempered foil makes it a better product. So this means even less product will be required.

Aw yeah!

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
