Red-navi-916
I'm def not a pro, but just build it louder. It's not always the betters equipment . Imo the L7's and T1's are pretty comparable Quote BUILDLOG http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=61862 "98crewcab"Never a POS....just always "a work in progress" lol that's how we roll bitches!!! HHR Ed
Ho Tony, welcome to the forum First off, both those cars are difficult to get loud, so they should be evenly matched. Secondly, both of your setups would be very closely matched so its too hard to tell. You just want to make sure you have the best ported box you can make. If you really want be sure you beat him, you have to step up to a more capable woofer and more power, But you may not be ready to do that. Start with what you have, see where you are at, and you can upgrade little by little from that point. sqsux
i'd say the smaller car will be louder almost no matter what with that similar of a set up. Quote Start out boxy, shape as you move along. Dc Audio Team Fur

kam311
The box is where it's at! The fi btl are real sick subs and yes 2500w can push them if you have the electrical to back up a real 2500w amp. Bit you could also shop around a little bit for subs that are a bit cheaper that can easily handle 2500w. Those btls would take that a piece! Lol Quote so far... tonytone4143
ok, last question would i have the room in the trunk for a box to handle them 12's?
kam311
I don't know your car. Two twelves on average need about 4ft^3 of airspace after all the displacements. So your going to have to measure and see. But I will tell you 1 thing, and this is a real hard thing for most people that are new to this to understand. If you don't have the suffecient airspace for 2 12" subwoofers then get two 10" subwoofers! 2 10's in proper airspace will out perform 2 12"s that are being choked! Just because they are 2 12s doesn't mean they are louder. There are so many variations. So make sure the box can have proper airspace and ported at the right frequency Quote so far...
