And I'm sorry for making myself unclear, I didn't mean inside the sub enclosure. I was thinking of a dedicated amp rack with a top panel over the amp with a window in it. Much like a buty panel. I'm POSITIVE you must have seen something like it in the builds on this or other forums.. The consept in mind(not my car!): Yeah man, I like how that looks. But the problem is. My amp is like 22" x 8.5" and I have 4" from the tip of my box to the lid of my trunk I am trying to mount it vertically so you can see it. or at-least the top portion of it. Doesn't look like he even took it to the post office yet, got a tracking number, but it doesn't say it was received by UPS guess it will be later than monday when I get it... come on Skavenger! bump for comments on the build! The triangle in the center upper of your "amp" is a dead give a way! But, it's all good! I"M DIGGIN THAT SET UP WITH THE MOSCONI AMPS! GOD I LOVE THE LOOKS OF THOSE THINGS!!!! But, alas, I have another itallian brand I'm using. Still beautiful works of art though! The only problem I see with the amp rack being like that, at such an angle, is that if you ever have to adjust it, it's gonna be a BITCH to get to unless you take it out. LMAO. Yeah it will be too hard to access, unless I use some form of mini-screwdriver and mirror technique, I will have to set it up outside of the car put it in place. But hopefully it will be a tune once and leave it kind of deal. I shouldn't have to adjust it multiple times.. I have been sitting here for about an hour or two TRYING to think of an idea for a battery rack. Since i have the carpet there, i dont just wanna have plywood protruding through the carpet and make the carpet go around. wouldn't look good at all I dont think.. might just do it out of some clean MDF so at-least it blends with the sub box and amp rack. Hmm. Still nothing on the amp though, I am a bit upset, because I would have thought 3 days after payment he would have taken it to the UPS office. But the only way he could get a packing number for a 26lb package to my house would be is if he paid for it, and I don't think postage was cheap...so hopefully he takes it like TODAY. But even then I don't think I will get it until Wednesday at the earliest Well, I will be here looking around at builds to get some ideas for the battery rack. But am probably just going to do a box without the lid and call it good. I will be happy when the amp gets here though. I also have about an inch taller than the box before the amp gets in the way of the subs. So looking at about 13-3/4. Going to call it maximum amp rack dimensions of 5-1/4 depth x 28" width x 13-1/2 height. Lets see what we can make in Sketchup! STILL waiting on the Rockford Fosgate T2500-1bd from Skavenger...but I don't think he has shipped it yet. Come on man :/ Waiting on the amp rack and may be able to incorporate the battery into it and have a cool design. So ship it man! Till then I guess I will just sit back and relax. hopefully he ships it atleast monday which should make it come thursday or friday... Had a few ideas for the amp rack though. Keep in tune! So it makes sense that the status isn't updated. He should have taken it already. But UPS just doesn't update on Saturday or Sunday. No big deal.
