MrSkippyJ Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 (edited) Kickers new amps are only stable down to 2 ohms LAME so there is no way in hell that I can run these subs on my amp? you can try it in parallel, it's 1.5 ohms. I don't know much about kicker amps so I have no idea what it might do. I wouldn't really recommend it if it were me though. MarcoCaparrotta Posted July 18, 2011 Author Report Posted July 18, 2011 6 ohms if its at 6 ohms, my amp will run fine? will it still put out the full 750 watts? Quote
RickyFriery97 Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 You can wire down to 1.5 ohm, you could try, after rise you could be alright but don't count on it to save you, I've seen some zx series amps ran @ 1 ohm. Quote 2014 Chevy Silverado Crewcab 1994 Chevy Full Size blazer
6berry Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 you can wire them down to 1.5 ohms which could be safe, could cause problems. i doubt the difference between 1.5 and 2 would be a problem though Quote 1999 Audi A4 1.8T::: 4 - DC Level 3 10's in a 4th order Rockford P6002 on Subs for now (3-3.5k coming eventually) MB Quart ONX4.60 for Mids and Highs Boston S50 Components in Front Boston S65 Coaxials in Rear 40 Sq Ft of Second Skin Damplifier Build Thread UBL 1948 Plymouth
