fecupe2001 Posted July 19, 2011 Report Share Posted July 19, 2011 (edited) Damn! that´s a high goal with a single 1500 watts amplifier with a 1 ohm load and 2 8´s, i haven´t work with those subs so i can´t give you a good input, i got good results using a pair of DD 1508s on a 2.2 c/f box and a single 6" aeroport but it´s a completly different sub, you should wait for someone with a good experience on SA´s to give you a better input, said that, if it was me, i would try something like 1.6 - 2 cubic feet and a 6" aeroport, yes it´s a lot of port but you have small power , maybe a couple of 4" aeroports should work, but once again, i have 0 experience with SA´s so i might be giving you a dumb advice lol Also, i would do subs side port back on this application and around 38-42 hz tuning since the resonant frequency of that car should be low Edited July 19, 2011 by fecupe2001 Quote I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. lowpt Posted July 19, 2011 Report Share Posted July 19, 2011 I hate to jack this thread but, it looks like the op isn't getting much help anyway. So, here goes. I am planning on running two sa-8s as well. I have played with some numbers on Torres calc. but possibly someone with more knowledge can steer me in the right direction before I start cutting wood. I plan on using two d-4s wired to one ohm. I have definitely have 12x12x39 that I can work with but, I can easily make it more or less. I would like it for daily music and hopefully it will be loud as well. It it matters I will be using a Soundstream TX1.1300d to power them.
