Dylank811
I'm thinking about simplifying my setup with a 5 channel amp. Anyone have any recommendations on a good amp? Or any reasons that this is a bad idea? Dubpower
first of everyone would need to know what you are running so they can answer your question
Dylank811
My setup changes all the time haha, but right now it's 2 P2's and 4 P1 speakers. Currently using 601s amp and Xplod amp. The problem I'm seeing as I search for amps is that none of them seem to have a very high output sub channel. That's unfortunate. ChevyBoy95
so 600rms for substage, and 240 rms for the 4 speakers. whats the coil config on the p2s? what about this? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_23827_Hifonics-Zeus-ZXi60.4-1K.html Edited July 20, 2011 by ChevyBoy95 Quote Best Score to Date : 160.5 dB Outlaw (47Hz)[4 XM 15's & 2 Taramps Bass 12k's] BL : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/147800-chevyboy95s-4-15s-7krms-wall-1533-db-on-half-power/YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/hitemwiththeflex/
Dylank811
They're DVC, but I'd have to keep room for upgrading because I only had these for a month and I'm already selling them to get P3's. And those probably won't last long either. And they're D4. S15_Silvia
Rockford Fosgate Power 1000. If you have $600 to drop on one...they're well worth it. Mine's doing about 110 RMS to the mids/highs (4Ω) and 933 on the sub channel at 1Ω. Dylank811
I haven't thought Hifonics yet. That actually looks pretty good, and would be a perfect match for my system once I had the P3's. Good RMS for my speakers too.
