I have a 2011 Tahoe I'm trying to put 2 15's in a sealed box. Doing sealed because it will be behind the 3rd row. Just want to know what the best way to face the subs? Thanks.

I know for ported, sub up port back normally yields the best results. Not sure if sealed is the same (with subs up)

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

What makes a ported box harder to remove than a sealed? I know your going to say size, but I'd rather a Louder system that's a tad more difficult to take out as opposed to a quieter, easier system...

But on topic, since it's sealed, can't you just build the box, and flip it around (subs up/subs forward/subs back) and see which you like the best?

Subs back about 6 inches from gate.

Best removable box is to wire subs as desired to one set of screw type terminals that accepts banana clips and connect amp mono. Then you have one speaker wire to disconnect and take out the box.

Headunit - Sony DSX-200X

Subs - (2) Modified American Bass 18's

Monoamp - DD M4

Front Stage - CDT HD62-AS components with

4 Channel Amp - Hifonics ZRX1000.4

Cadence 0 gauge

Singer 275 amp Alt
