Which battery do i need

i have a 2002 silverado 1500hd with stock battery and big 3 upgrade. i have a crescendo bc2000 and a merlon 50x4 amp that i will be putting in my truck. i am going to run 1/0 to the back of my truck to a secondary battery. what size and possibly which battery should i use? and should i upgrade my alt too?

The biggest battery your space limitations and wallet can fit. You can't have too much battery.

It would just be a swap with your stock battery. And I wouldn't be looking at minimum necessary...if it were me, I would go with the biggest that you can fit. D3400 would supply your amps very well.

X2. From my experience the D3400 holds up well for 2000w or so. But if you can fit it, I'd definitely suggest a D3100.

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

i was just asking for the minimum so i know where to start. and i will look into those batteries, but is there anything cheaper that yu would recommend?

There's a guy on CA.com and CACO selling Deka 9a31s for $120iirc.

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)
