And Ahmadinejad could come out right now and say "I am going to nuke Israel" and give an exact time and date for it- it doesn't matter. His decisions are essentially meaningless without the backing of the Supreme Leader. Now don't get me wrong, Khamenei has said some extremely negative things about Israel as well, but his statements are far from those made by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
