bus bars and fuses question

say i have 6 batteries... and i use a bus bar to connect all of the positives and grounds. well aren't you supposed to have fuses between each battery?

you only need to have a fuse between long sections of + wire in case the insulation gets cut and it contacts ground. on a buss bar in between close batteries you dont need a fuse. but a fuse should be on both ends of every + run from front to back
