ive got an sks just like that im about to durakote it i think. i clean it up oil it and two days later it rusts.

ive got an sks just like that im about to durakote it i think. i clean it up oil it and two days later it rusts.

Ye mine does to. And its inaccurate as shit. Ive taken it to ever gunsmith in my area and none know the problem

mines not bad at all actually. i dont really shoot it past 50-100 yards but it does alright.

I like stag arms. They really don't have crap, even their cheaper entry line. But damn, a trijicon, that's almost another rifle, especially if its the .223 bc model. Theres a guy near me with a M82a1, I believe is the model, and has the ballitic compensation acog, cost him nearly 2 grand he said. That's why I went with a hammers 42mm T red/green sight with removable 2x adapter. I can keep both eyes open and have pretty good torso sized target acquisition at about 125yds.

I'd just google it, but they have hundreds of sites you can buy ak and sks parts, you can buy a parts kit and build an ak for under $350. Just buy.all new internals and swap them out, worse case you have almost another entire rifle. I know a few people that had sks issues like you and they all turned out to be the barrel/receiver joint. Had barrel droop or something with the welding, usually those barrels are "permanently" attached.
