1997 Honda Accord wit 24 10" for voice and 2 18" dc bass

^ This is exactly what I think everytime ive seen one because 99% of them are this way. I havent yet heard one that even took the time to gain match the amps very well, so seeing anything like this normally already has a bad wrap for the thousands like it that have NO tuning whatsoever.

couldn't the same be said about the 100's who have a prefab box, bass boost on +12, voltage dropping into the 10's, trunk rattling, etc.... does that mean that all cars with subs sound like crap

I will agree I've heard some bad sounding PA set ups, but I've heard many more bad normal comp/coax set ups since those are still more common.

yea not even trippis 40 6.5 couldnt keep up wit his bass

mine keeps up just fine. Actually the 4 6.5's in each door and 2 bullets in each A pillar keeps up with 99% of the stuff I play. I rarely play the 12's/supertweets in the doors...

Battle stuff sounds like fun, I need to make a trip out that way next year to check it out

45 minutes north of chicago. I'm about the only one around here right now running serious PA stuff, but I'm sure that will change next year as I've opened a lot of eyes to the potential and fun it can be at a show.

I don't care for it, but if you are happy, that is all that matters, NICE work, and mlstrass is legit, he runs a van with 6 AQ 18s on 6 AQ 3500Ds, and is built for music. Does 58s last I heard, and his old altima did 160s on 4 AQ 15s.

Are there any big shows in NY this year? I've been wanting to hear some of these cars but PA is too far of a drive for me (7+ hours)
