got my mechman alt in got couple ?'s

got my new alt in

now for the questions it came with this and i have no idea what its for

also on the AVBM instrustions it speaks of a ring terminal on the green wire coming off mine is terminated with a female disconnect

1.what is the bracket for?

2.what do i do with the green wire?

now before you guys say just email them i have... i was hoping you late nighters/early morning guys could chime in as well

The bracket looks like it offsets the alt for installation, the bolt will go in the bottom ear and the stud and nut go through a bracket on the engine, sorry about the green wire as i have no knowledge on it's use.

The small bracket bolts to the top of the alternator and to the factory adjustment bracket to give you the necessary adjustment.

On the AVBM harness there should be a male spade on the case bolt next to the regulator plug, it goes there.

I wish I could ship everywhere as fast as the APO!

Sent you an email about the belt-slip issue.

This unit puts out more at 800rpm than your factory unit did at it's peak, proper belt setup is critical. If you have any more questions please reply to my email, you will get faster response than on the forums as I get notification on my desktop.
