I was addicted to that build lol as was i with your car and the youtube vids I agree with the loudness fact. Just would personally rather run something nobody else really runs.. kickass audio Posted August 8, 2011 Report Share Posted August 8, 2011 You can blow any kind of sub if your enclosure isnt worth shit or you play a freq out of the capability of the woofer or box or if you clip/distort the hell out of the signal. I was hammering on my SMD earlier to clamp how much power i am getting out of it and the coil didnt get hot at all and it didnt smell one bit. I clamped my single AA SMD 18 at 4049.2 watts at a impedance rise of 1.48 ohms from .5 ohms.
