Subsonic filter

The larger box will reduce the mechanical power handling.

 i knew that. lol i forgot about tuning the filter couple hz under the tuning of the box, right?

I ran 2 Mt 18's in 13 cuft on 16,000 watts.

2x4's are 1.5" x 3.5"

1.5 x 3.5 x 13.5 / 1728 = 0.041 cuft each

Current system:

1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s

Previous systems:

2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz.

1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz.

If you're only going to use a pair of 6" ports, they have to be aeros(flared opening)...otherwise you're begging for port noise with a capable woofer like the HC.
