Why would you want to? Its constant power for a reason

Exactly. You wouldnt get much out of it by risking a .5 ohm load.

Because If I was to get one I could only use it at 2ohms but I also have to consider the Box rise which could get up to 3-4+ ohms which is a big difference to me. I would hope if I ran it at 1/2 ohm it wouldnt rise to more then 2ohms give or take(depending on the box).

CP = constant power.... named that way for a reason... so I believe specs should tell you that 2ohm - 4ohm are the same output???

Pioneer Premier P880PRS ll Front Stage: US Acoustics 4060 - Random speakers currently ll Sub Stage: Crescendo BC3500D - 15" Xcon sealed @ 3.28 cubes ll Electrical: - Kinetik HC1800(front) NEW***DieHard P-2(rear)

beaker- I know this sounds like a lot of anime bullshit, but it is true.

Guest DC Power Kyle

Where you lose "half" your output power from one 1 to 2 you lose it from 2 to 4..

They are AWESOME amps. I love mine. They can do .7... no problemo.

the 1 and 2 ohm readings for the 2500bdCP is like 3100-3300rms, 4ohms gets around 1800-2000. its a waste of an amp if you run it at .5
