this is alil different i just got an interveiw and am hoping to get a job at my local bestbuy i was just wondering if its a good place to work? and a good place to start..it would be my first job and it is for a cashier postion

It pays well and they have a very nice discount for little shit. Overall nice place to work unless you had hit managers like I did. Whatever they tell you, do NOT take a job as the guy that stands at the door. Easily the worst job there. Anywhere else is fine. I made 7.19 starting there back when minimum wage was 5.15.

i applied at best buy like 3-4 times and never got interview. every time i called for hiring manager, she was never there, and they took my info down, but never got call from her :(

that sucks man i put my app in last nite and got a call this afternoon

Ive been with the company for the past 6 years and I'll say this its a great place to work if you arent a manager or supervisor. I was the lead install tech for about 3 years and I was miserable everyday. I dropped back down to full time installer and I make more money than I did as the lead tech and I am back to doing what I love to do come in work on cars and leave just dont try to pursue a leadership role and you should be cool. Oh tip for you and it goes for all the jobs in the store never say the phrase thats not my job that will put a target on your back.

Deck- Sony XAV-60 in-dash mobile video system

Speakers- Rockford Punch 6.5in comps in the front and coax in the rear

Subs- 2 Gen 3 Rockford P3 12's dual 4 ohm

Amps- Rockford P1000-1bd and P400-4 Alpine Mrp-f300 is in for P400-4 which is out to service

Wiring- all rockford nuff said

Enclosure- Dual 12in custom box by SRQ

Battery- Optima Yellow top with big 3 done

Sound Damping- All Dynamat products 1-2 layers throughout with liner on top

thats what i want is the installer job but at 16 i have to wait a lil while and i figure if i already work for the company i have a better shot......well wish me luck i m off to the interveiw

Yea, I own my own business. If someone says its not my job, they are gone. Most bosses are looking for people that will step up and help handle problems when they arise.
