Cardboardcat15
VERY clean build! The OCD side of me loves the fact that it's all Rockford. Looks really nice. My Channel on YouTube. Check it out for cinematic-style Car Audio videos. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcSMhtT-rpopJbdybubDgnQ New 2014 Scion TC 4th Wall Build https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/217173-2014-tc-4th-order-build-3-fi-sp4-15s/
AmericanLegend
Very nice equipment. If you'll take a little constructive criticism, the best thing you can do for the security of your system is move those amps. If you like the location of them, at least mount them to the bottom side of that board instead of the top. Nothing says "steal me" more than some RF amps in plain daylight. Other than that, looks like you got a nice little system! ^^ This ^^ I would be so scared that some idiot has broken my window for amps in plain view! Since I got my Mazda 3, I have been attentive to sounds in other hatchbacks. Yours looks very clean and I can't wait to see how your box turns out... BTW are you doing subs and port back again? Circular, square, or rectangular ports?

Circular, square, or rectangular ports? cant hardly see in my back windows anyway so im not to worried about it. im going to point them more at an angle toward the rear window. as for the port debating on going with a couple aeros or doing a slot port with rounded edges still not totaly sure. http://www.stevemead...f-system-build/ 2001 VW GTI with a 1.8T motor BIG 3 Pioneer AVH-4200DVD DOUBLE DIN HEAD UNIT 6 - 4 VOLT PREOUTS RF T1500-BDCP (running at 2 ohm) RF T400.4 RF T1 D212 x2 (in ported box) RF 1/0 TO 4 GAUGE distribution block x 2 all stinger wires 200a alternator (SINGER ALT) RF T2652-S (6.5 MID BASS AND 1" TWEETS in front and rear) KINETIC HC 800 BATTERY (Front) KINETIC HC 1200 BATTERY (BACK) 120ft of 1/0 stinger blue and clear matt 20ft of 4 gauge stinger blue and clear matt 30ft of 8 gauge stinger blue and clear matt 100ft of 12 gauge stinger speaker wire black
basshead8569
Alright this is my first build constructive criticism is welcome but please no bashing. This is kind of a catch up so mostly pictures i will have more as i progress and finalize things as i said this is my first build and really got into car audio about a year ago and after watching Steve's videos he kinda inspired me not gonna lie. but anyways here we go. my first ever video i have posted i will do a audio demo when my neighbors calm down a bit hehe have had the police called a few times. Very nice build. Now, I work at best buy and worked at Mickey Shores. They all said that mounting your amps on the top of your box is bad. Destroys them faster. But, I look around on here and a lot of people have there amps on the top. Since yours are on top have you had problems with your amps going? I had mine on the back of my back seats. I could fold the back seats down and easy access to the amps. Till one broke off. But, on the top of my box would be better. Current system (still building) 2 kicker 12" dcvr in factory kicker ported box, Rockford Fosgate 1200.1 Amp, Kenwood ddx-470 ddin radio, Rockford Fosgate 0 Gauge wiring, Rockford Fosgate punch 6X8 2 way speakers.
